The primary goal of our professional staff is to enhance the food service systems of the facilities served.  This is achieved through LRA partnering with the management team and staff of the facility.

LRA services skilled, intermediate, and sheltered long term care facilities; developmentally disabled and mentally impaired facilities; and assisted and supportive living facilities.  The facilities LRA services range from 50 beds to 450 beds.

Consultant Dietitian Services – Dietitian consulting services are provided to contracted facilities.  Regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction and clinical nutritional therapy are standard practice.  LRA recommends the dietitian on-site during survey.

Manuals – A complete library of Food Service Department manuals are available.  Policies within these manuals have been reviewed by Risk Management.

Forms – An array of Food Service Department forms have been develope

Sanitation Certification – LRA’s IDPH and CDPH certified instructors conduct sanitation courses monthly for food service workers.  Most LRA dietitians are FSSMC in the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago.

Menu & Recipe Development -  LRA’s Menu Development Team offers several menus most costing-out between $3.75 to $4.25 ppd.  Offerings include Standard Menu, Upgrade Menu, Upgrade Select Menu, Soul Food Menu . . .  LRA will customize a menu to meet the tastes of your residents.

Medicare Part B Reimbursement – Enteral reimbursement by third party billers requires documented justification for tube feedings.  LRA’s Nutrition Therapy Assessment form includes information that may assist in justification for tube feeding supplies.  Our dietitians are trained to identify the three major criteria for justification.
